I have been neglected posting to my blog here! I just finished up a commissioned painting for a collector and carefully packed it up for shipping. Packing a large painting can take a surprising amount of time, as I often need to work on a custom box size, and then reinforce it with rigid insulation. The type of rigid insulation used in houses, that is very sturdy and yet lightweight for shipping. It comes in big 4 x 8 sheets that I cut down to fit inside the box. It works very well.
