Almost Hidden

I found the inspiration for this painting from an old Octagon that is still standing on a remote Midwestern back road.  I decided on rows of tall summer corn with a field of ripe golden wheat in front of it.  An overcast sky with heavy rain clouds hang in the sky above the barn.
